This two-day EAL course covers the knowledge, understanding and some of the skills associated with the design, specification, installation, inspection, testing, commissioning and handover of electrical energy storage systems (EESS).
A great follow-on from having attended a PV Solar course.
It is aimed at competent electricians who wish to demonstrate that they have the necessary understanding and skills associated with an EESS, associated typically with a dwelling.
It has a range of relevant outcomes covering statutory legislation applicable to EESS, the principles of batteries and EESS, how to specify and design an EESS, installation, inspection and testing, and handover of an EESS.
This qualification is for suitably qualified electricians only, who are conversant with inspection and testing and the wiring regulations. Learners are expected to have the potential to achieve this qualification, with the minimum levels of literacy and numeracy required to complete the learning outcomes and assessments. Learners must be 18+ years of age.
